Meet Charlie Swerling (New Coach Acquisition Specialist)

Why Lions?

I’ve coached for Lions for 3 years throughout my time at university. I love what the company is about and the values we hold ourselves to. When the opportunity arose to join the team full time I jumped at the chance.

What do you bring to the team?

A fresh pair of eyes and new ideas, along with knowledge of what it’s like delivering for Lions as a coach.

What was your first job?

My first ever job was working on my family farm. My first “proper job” was working as a P.E teaching assistant in my gap year.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A teacher.

If you could have a beer with any celebrity, dead or alive, who would it be?

Eddie Jones - I would love to pick his brains about rugby.

Your favourite takeaway?

I'm not overly fussy… love them all but number one would have to be a curry.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I play rugby every week and enjoy going to the gym.

If you could go on holiday anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Iceland
