Lions To Start New Camp At St Neots This May!
This May Lions Sports Academy have partnered with St Neots Rugby Club to run two camps with them throughout the half term break. We will be running a Minis and Juniors camp with the club on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th May.  It is great for us to be commencing our first camp with the club this May and we can't wait to get started and see a great turnout! The Minis camp is a mixed camp (Girls & Boys) for U9s - U12s, whilst the Junior camp will be split into two different sections. A boys camp for U13s - U15s and a Girls camp for U13s - U15s. Lions To Start Partnership With ACS Egham In Summer Term
From the start of the summer term, Lions Sports Academy have agreed a partnership with ACS Egham International School to help coach strength & conditioning at the school. Throughout the final term, we will be providing the school with a coach, who will help run a strength & conditioning programme at the school for the pupils. This is a great opportunity & we would like to thank the school for agreeing to work with us. Lions Returning To Bletchley RUFC This Summer!
Lions Sports Academy will be running three separate age-group camps at Bletchley RUFC between 19th and 21st August. The three camps will be split into a Minis camp, Boys Performance camp and a Girl's Performance camp. All of the camps will run for three days. The Minis camp will be for those between ages U9 and U12, the Boys Performance is for U13 - U15 and the Girls Performance is for U13 - U18. Coaching Partnership Agreed With Old Wimbledonians Cricket Club
Lions Sports Academy have agreed a partnership with Old Wimbledonians Cricket Club to help coach at the club throughout the upcoming season. Between the end of April & July, Lions will be providing a coach on Friday's & Sunday's to help coach the boys & girls at the club.  We are extremely excited to have agreed this partnership & cannot wait to get started. Lions Coaches Shine As Harlequins Ladies Reach Tyrrells Premier 15s Final
Harlequins Ladies soured into the Tyrrells Premier 15s final with a 26-10 victory over Loughborough Lightenings at The Twickenham Stoop. They will now play Saracens Womens at Franklins Gardens, Northampton, on the 27th April. The final will be a rematch of last year's final in which Saracens edged out Harlequins in a tightly fought contest.  It was a great day all round as Lions Sports Academy were represented by 4 of our coaches. This summer, for an extra £10 you will be able to purchase a Lions Sports Academy sports vest when sign up to one of our pre-season courses. England World Cup Winner To Attend Lions Old Reigatians Easter Camp
Fresh off her visit to our Easter Rugby Residential at Box Hill School, England World Cup & Grand Slam winner Vicky Fleetwood will be dropping in to take part in some coaching at our girls rugby camp at Old Reigatians next Monday. She will be coming along for a few hours in the afternoon on the Monday to see the girls and impart her knowledge of the game onto them. Diversity & Unity At Lions Easter Residential
The first week of our Easter camps has come to an end and it was great to see so many kids attend our camp and residential at Ely Tigers Rugby Club & Box Hill School. The nature of our camp at Ely has already been portrayed with over 30 kids attending on both days and the fun atmosphere at the camp was helped by the good weather that we have been blessed with this week. Lions Support Guildford RFC Floodlit Tournament
It is crucial that children are given the opportunity to express themselves & have fun through sport. This is why Lions Sports Academy decided to support the Guildford RFC Floodlit Rugby tournament on Friday 5th April. The tournament for U7s - U9s, took place under the lights at Guildford Rugby Club & involved over 20 clubs. Some of the clubs to participate included Guildfordians RFC, Cranleigh RFC, Camberley RFC, Chichester RFC & Old Rutlishians RFC.
