Lion Cubs is our course of sporting activities specially designed with our young players (2-5) in mind.
Through fun exercises and structured play, children develop coordination, communication, and social interaction skills; all while making new friends and building confidence with our team of exceptional coaches.
At Lions we pride ourselves on our coaches. All of them are qualified, DBS checked, and committed to providing the best rugby experience that we possibly can. We do this by focusing on tried and tested methods specifically developed with the enjoyment and safety of our Cubs in mind.
Our Lion's coaches also include qualified teachers. This gives us a unique twist and ensures each session blends sporting activity with sporting education to deliver an all-round experience with excellent benefits for our Lion Cubs: educating players whilst helping them to develop basic motor function and coordination from an early age can have a great impact on sporting ability later on.
The level of sporting ability that you reach as an adult often depends on how your motor skills and coordination were developed as a young child. And, in our experience, the early establishment of coordination and the early development of athletic ability is one of the main differences between those who advance beyond their peers and those who struggle.
At Lions, we help each of our Cubs to progress the skills needed for their sporting talent to blossom. By using a range of sports related games, rather than focusing on one sport, we support our Cubs by improving their ability acrross a range of skills - and all whilst having bags of fun!
The course of a term varies according to how many weeks there are in total. (Sibling discounts are automatically applied via our booking system). For more details, please refer to our 'Home' page and search for Lion Cubs/Camps/Courses or email Info@lionssports.academy
